Final view.... Austin 10HP.....

Austin Utility "Tilly" 10HP
Polish 4th Infantry  Division, Scotland 1944

Base finishing....

Painting, washing, dry-brushing, some grass and base is done. First time I've used Dremel Engraver to write name of kit on base. Great fun !

Preparing base....

To prepare rocks I used Dremel 8200 with cleaing and sanding ends, thanks to them I've removed fingerprints and create more lifelike stone facture... after than I used primer and base was prepared for painting and finishing.....

Base creator... :P

On wooden base I put some plasticine to create some "3D" ground: country road with some rocky areas... After that I used wood filler, as terrain level, to put that just need few moves of finger...
My "rocky earth" effect is fine basing grit from Gale Force. To get better results to keep little rocks on base I sprayed whole base with "Ultra Strong" hairspray... now it's time for 1 hour drying...
Next step: painting...

Cargo load prepared...

I love those Black Dog boxes, now they are painted and finished on cargo box... next base...

10 HP add-ons and base - with Dremel...

Next step of that production: accessories, I've used Black Dog food supplies. Resin was perfectly prepared with Dremel 8200, as you can see on photos, first cut from form, then sand to correct level.
Now I can paint them all and start working with base.

Modelling contest in Cracow..............

Hello

I've returned from Modelling Contest Cracow 2012. Place for contest was perfect - "Museum of Home Army"/ "Muzeum Armii Krajowej" in Cracow. More informations and photos of that great place you can fine here :

There was 560 kits built by 120 modellers. So that was very nice competition with family atmosphere.
My four kits was awarded ( two in 1:48 scale categories ), so I'm very happy, because Cracow is my family homeland, so I'm glad about that too :)

Best regards
Przemo
